Verdict: We’d go back if someone wanted us to, but aren’t likely to seek it out.
An unplanned night out on South Broadway (SoBro) led to an impromptu visit to one of the area’s newest nostalgia themed bars. The Delorean quickly sends you “back to the future” as soon as you walk in the door with tons of throwback decoration. It’s clear a lot of work went into it, a flux capacitor blocks your way in the lobby even, and overall I would say they’ve done a solid job of setting the vibe.
Keep in mind that all seats (including bar seating) are subject to reservations. Without a reservation, we were banished to the realm of standing room only at the bar. Completely understandable given the situation and we were able to find a little space of our own for the 4 of us to chat. The bartenders were fairly quick to respond and within a very acceptable amount of time, drinks were had by all.

We kept the visit short as we had many destinations to try that evening, but frankly, the drinks were mid. Nothing wrong with them, but some flashy ice cubes and funny He-Man cups weren’t enough to make up for the slightly high prices. We are glad we gave it a shot, and would return if asked to go, but likely won’t recommend it to friends. If asked, the classic response will ensue, “it was alright….”
